Anna

Anna creates abstract, expressive works that explore repetition, geometry, and materiality. Her pieces often begin with a single shape - triangles, ovals, or structural motifs  - which multiply and shift across the surface, creating rich fields of colour and form. She works in layers to develop depth and texture, all with a vibrant colour palette. Often old canvases, textile scraps, acetate, tape, and her own past artworks are repurposed and collaged into new compositions. Texture is key - paint and ink bleeding softly into raw calico, sit alongside electrical tape and hard, plastic edges.

Each piece reveals an intuitive logic: an ongoing conversation between pattern, structure, composition, colour and chance.
