David 5.1.jpg

David’s pieces are bold, fast-moving constellations of image, colour, and text. Working at speed, he layers recycled materials into complex, conversational compositions that mirror the quick, associative flow of his thoughts. His works often hint at wider questions of truth, power, politics, and the unseen, embedding cryptic phrases and fragments of narrative. David draws inspiration from artists such as Barbara Hepworth and Marcel Duchamp, valuing art that challenges conventions over romanticised traditions. Whether exploring UFOs, cities, or human behaviour, his work invites reaction rather than agreement. “I would like people to show some reaction. I’m not necessarily asking people to agree with my artwork,” he says.
