Emma’s art from the studio:

Emma’s practice spans collage, drawing, printmaking, and embroidery. Her early collages layer fragments of paper, scraps of old paintings, and magazine imagery into dense compositions, while her mono prints and ink drawings often include handwritten text, where diaristic fragments sit alongside imagery to form quiet, poetic combinations. Still early in her artistic journey, Emma is curious and eager to learn - upbeat, full of energy, and always keen to get to know others in the studio. Her embroidery work is lovingly made and full of character - including a portrait of her dog, Maisie - and she is now beginning to explore painting on fabric, particularly around themes of nature.
