Fatma
Fatma is a prolific abstract painter who expresses joy through her abstract expressionist style. She enjoys the process of painting and choosing and working with colour. Her painting style has a rhythmic quality as she uses repetitive marks, alternating colours, building up striking layers as she moves through the painting.
Painting and attending sessions in the Artbox studio are key parts of Fatma’s wellbeing. Her mum has told us that Artbox is the only thing that brings a smile to Fatma’s face each week. This is precisely our mission at Artbox: to facilitate our artists to be able to experience the therapeutic benefits of art and artmaking, and to have a positive impact on their mental health.
