Liam

Liam is a self-taught artist whose paintings balance bold, saturated colour with an intricate, unmistakable drawing style. His forms often evoke architecture, grid-like maps, or structural frameworks, sometimes laced with text or depictions of people and places. These drawn structures underpin his equally distinctive painting process, where paint mixed with PVA or other mediums is squeezed through applicator bottles onto the surface to create raised, textured lines. The marks take on a life of their own - bleeding, dripping, melting together, or sitting thickly on the surface. Inspired by architecture, Picasso, Klimt, the colour red, and his home city of Liverpool, Liam says: “I like to express myself through art and share my work with other people.
