Michaela
Michaela makes bold, vibrant, joy-filled art using bright colours and flowing, instinctive marks. Her lines have a delicate, wandering rhythm - full of energy, spontaneity, and warmth. “I just like doing things. I like drawing. I like looking at different pictures. I like making pictures with lots of colour,” she says. Michaela loves taking her work home to decorate her space and takes great pride in showing it to friends. As she’s grown more confident, her sense of belonging in the studio has deepened. She now thrives on group feedback and takes joy in what she’s able to achieve. Each piece feels like a moment of surprise, pride, and joy - evidence of the emotional lift and creative pleasure that making art brings her.
