Nicky

Nicky is an artist with a bold vision, fusing his love of space travel, animals, and myth into vibrant, graphic worlds. His work used to centre on “The Nicky Amat Spaceship Company” where imagined vessels designed for cosmic adventure were rendered in vivid tones and characterful lines. Using colouring pens and Poscas, his compositions combine geometric structures, emblem-like symbols, and occasional bursts of text. Moving on from spaceships, Nicky now focuses on depicting animals both real and fantastical - bulls, farm animals, and mythical creatures - each drawn with theatrical energy. One day, he hopes to journey into space himself. Until then, coming to Artbox is one of the highlights of his week.
