Pip

Pip’s themes often concern the macabre, the gruesome, the spooky, and psychological. Halloween is his favourite time of year, and his sketchbooks are filled with zombies, ghosts, skeletons and ghouls - drawn with skill, character, and a nod to manga and cartoons. While he often works in traditional drawing media, Pip’s imagination frequently spills into 3D, creating interactive sculptural pieces that sometimes require playful physical interaction.
After finishing college during the difficult Covid years, Pip - like many young people with autism - faced a challenging transition as education-based support fell away. Artbox has offered him a weekly creative anchor and a sense of community. His humour, technical skill, and distinctive imagination have space to grow here, and his contributions are much-loved by peers and staff alike.
