Savas
Savas makes vibrant, joyful, and deeply textural work. Often inspired by natural forms - especially leaves, trees, and branches - he builds gestural marks into dense compositions full of rhythm and movement. He works with gusto and energy, driving and hammering paint, ink, watercolour, and pastel into the surface, often incorporating found natural materials like twigs and leaves.
Artbox holds a special place for Savas, who finds as much joy in creating as in the friendships he makes in the studio. He brings warmth, humour, and laughter to each session, and his creative process is full of experimentation, play, and delight.
