Bobbi

Bobbi’s work explores animals, nature, and abstract forms through sculpture, painting, printmaking and drawing. Alongside figurative work, she has a distinct abstract language  - tribal masks, glyphs, symbols, symmetrical designs - that emerges in sketchbooks kept as a form of therapy and emotional release: “it makes me relaxed, it stops me from having panic attacks and helps me get everything out of my system when I’m upset.”

Lately, she’s developed a unique way of working with masking tape - creating 3D reliefs of her sketchbook drawings, which are then painted into and overlapped with other imagery.

Bobbi is the life and soul of the studio - always bringing warmth, good cheer and chat, and a hearty welcome to any dog, cat or squirrel that passes by.
