About the artist and their work:

Bobbi works in a variety of mediums including acrylic paint, oil paint, chalk, charcoal, pastels, riso and print making.

Bobbi is very dedicated to her art, producing a high volume of quality pieces both in the studio and at home. She is keen to experiment with her work, and is not afraid to try new techniques. Working in the studio has given Bobbi an opportunity to develop her skill in creating portraits and abstract images of faces. The studio space has enabled her to work on larger pieces, and she enjoys working alongside other artists.

“When I make art it makes me relaxed, it stops me from having panic attacks, it helps me get everything out of my system when I’m upset, it stops me thinking about stuff, it stops me getting angry and I like it!
I cried tears of joy when I first sold my art. When I showed my mum Artbox’s website and she couldn’t believe it when she saw my work...and when I got the cheque, she thought I was only getting £20 but I got £120. She was like ‘I can’t believe it’ so she was texting everyone in my family and took a photo of me with my cheque and sent it to everyone, even my family in Scotland. It made me happy... I’m proud of myself and happy. ”
