Lee

Lee’s art blends architectural detail, vibrant colour, and a sense of place, moving between cityscapes, birds, transport, and more abstract compositions. Early works were inspired by ancient Egypt, but more recent pieces draw on his travels, studio outings, and exhibitions, such as his seascape influenced by a trip to Cornwall and the artist Leigh Davis. His drawings and paintings combine confident outlines with lively, layered colour, often capturing buildings or landscapes with a playful, personal twist.
Lee thrives in the social life of the studio, where his warm, steady presence anchors the group. The chance to exhibit and sell work has boosted his confidence, affirming his identity as an artist. “I feel fantastic,” he says. “It gives me confidence.”
