About Lee

Although many of his earlier pieces were inspired by ancient Egypt, Lee also creates illustrations of birds, transport and London. Lee is also a big fan of the social aspect of Artbox. He gets on very well with everyone, loves to join conversations, and holds the group together with his confident and calm presence. 

He loves all kinds of art and culture and relishes any type of exhibition we visit. Lee always takes part in outings and these, along with his own travels, inspire his work. He tells us his piece The Sea “... was inspired by going to the seaside and when looking at a Cornish artist called Leigh Davis”.
