About the artist and their work:

Chris’s work is experimental and diverse, ranging from photography to graphic design to painting. His photography explores angles and sense of space, shadows and the effect of light reflecting on glass architecture. In his abstract paintings, colours swirl and intersperse. Chris works for a design agency in Clerkenwell and is vocal in his support for people with learning disabilities and autism, encouraging others to challenge themselves. In the past he has given talks, most notably at the Royal Academy where he talks about the relationship between art and disability.

“I love the ways the art can take when you experiment and use different kinds of materials. I also think it’s important to feel represented as a disabled artist. I hope this will change the perception of disability.”

— Chris
