Ahmar started this work by using a blue, purple and black acrylic paint and rollers to create an abstract background.

Ahmar drew the outline of the figure which was inspired by an editorial photograph with a needle tip bottle with acrylic paint, which has given a three dimensional outline.

Ahmar then worked into the painting with oil and soft pastels.

‘I chose the colours, and used different colours to colour part of the background. I made the artwork slowly.’ The intention of Ahmar's work is ‘to make people feel more relaxed and calm.’
